site of the International Women's Club of Paraná.
The club was founded in Curitiba, Paraná in May of 1996
by five outstanding women from different countries but with the same desire to expand their circle of knowledge of the country
and their circle of friends. Today, the club is made up of more than 70 members from over 28 different countries
around the world.
Although our resources and knowledge base have expanded over
the last ten years, the aim of the club is still to support women and their families that are new to Brazil, or
Brazilian women who have lived about for many years and are returning to Brazil again. This means of support is
meant to provide a venue for women with international ties to meet informally, exchange ideas and make friends.
Through this web site and membership contact and literature, members have the opportunity
to learn more about Curitiba as well, from necesseties such as emergency medical care to fun knowledge like shopping
and travel tips.
English is the common language of the club, and all meetings,
functions and correspondence are conducted in English.
